A Hyatt Fund Event co-sponsored by the Disability Law Society, the International Law Society, and the Vanderbilt Intellectual Property Association.
This panel will feature Justin Hughes, Allan Adler and James Love, three experts in international intellectual property law who helped to draft the Marrakesh Treaty.
Passed by the 186 member countries of the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Marrakesh Treaty permits national copyright exemptions for the reproduction and distribution of copyrighted texts in accessible formats. This initiative has drastically improved the availability of copyrighted texts to persons with vision disabilities.
A reception will follow the panel.
