DC Volunteer Project for Pathway Homes
November 17, 2013 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Bren Mar Park area, Alexandria, VA
Come join fellow alumni, family and friends as we give back at Pathway Homes
Due to privacy concerns for their residents, Pathway has requested that we not make the address public. Address will be given out to registered volunteers.
Since the location is not metro accessible, we encourage volunteers to carpool. Please contact Tony de Castro if you are able and willing to drive others or are looking for a ride.
We will spend the afternoon working at one of Pathway Homes' residential buildings doing outdoor yard work and cleanup. All you need to bring are closed toed shoes and clothes suited for the weather that you don't mind getting dirty.
Pathway Homes, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (PDF) providing non-time-limited housing and supportive services to adults with serious mental illness and other co-occurring disabilities in Northern Virginia.
Pathway Homes has a track record of success in helping the mentally ill by:
