Brazilian Studies Reading Seminar presents Mario Ramiro (visual arts, University of São Paulo).
Ramiro will discuss sound urban intervention, a form of artistic expression where the public is confronted with art in everyday environments, rather than having the art contained within a sanctioned art space.
The talk is in collaboration with Boom Box Bikes, a Conversations/Conversas project, hosted by the Curb Center for Art, Enterprise and Public Policy, the Center for Latin American Studies, Vanderbilt International Office, and the Vanderbilt Department of Art.
