Come join fellow alums, family and friends as we give back at the Capital Area Food Bank
The mission of the Capital Area Food Bank is to feed those who suffer from hunger in the Washington metro area by acquiring food and distributing it through its network of partner agencies. Last year, they served 33 million pounds of food to over 450,000 people in the region.
We will spend the afternoon organizing food out of their new warehouse facility. Please wear closed toe shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
Driving is recommended, though a shuttle can also be arranged from the Brookland-CUA metro if there is sufficient interest.
Please register here:
Volunteers ages 12 and up are welcome.
