The FCCS course, sponsored by the Society of Critical Care Medicine, provides recommendations for training participants to recognize and treat critically ill patients in the first 24 hours. CME and CEU credits are available. The course is intended for academic as well as community intensivists, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, medical students and paramedics.
