Despite international support, many of Zambézia’s people still lack access to modern medicine or chose alternative forms of medical treatment. This lecture will discuss the evidence that supports the claim that visiting traditional healers has a detrimental impact on the health of their patients and other factors that impact health-seeking behavior of patients.

Lunch will be provided.
