Vanderbilt Orchestra performs Béla Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra, one of the composer's best-known and -loved compositions. The Vanderbilt Wind Ensemble performs a program titled "Made in America," spotlighting original works for wind instruments, including: Clifton Williams' The Sinfonians, featuring the brothers of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia; Aaron Copland's Lincoln Portrait, narrated by Jim Lovensheimer; and Robert Russell Bennett's Suite of Old American Dances.
