Barnes & Noble Vanderbilt to host it's first in a monthly series of poetry nights. The host of our monthly poetry night will be local poet and author Ciona Rouse. Ciona promises to rally some of Nashville and Middle Tennessee's brightest and well known poets, up and come poets as well as students and members of the community who just want to give the spoken word and try.

The event will be held in the Barnes & Noble Vanderbilt cafe. We proudly serve Starbucks coffee so come have a coffee drink, great food, enjoy and support your local artists.

Don't miss out on this exciting new, monthly event. The series kicks off Friday, Feb. 22 from 7-9 p.m. This month will be honoring African American History Month with poets Tiana Clark, Michael Diallo and your host Ciona Rouse.
