Co-sponsored by the Environmental Law and Policy Annual Review, the Vanderbilt Energy, Environment and Land Use Program, and the Environmental Law Society.
Eric Biber, professor of law at UC Berkeley School of Law, will present his paper for discussion, "The Problem of Environmental Monitoring," in which he examines the challenges associated with the collection of accurate information about environmental quality, which is central to effective environmental law and policy, and proposes innovative approaches to improving ambient monitoring.
