"Occupy Wall Street, Democratic Process and Lessons for November" is the topic for the October Thinking Out of the (Lunch) Box: Conversations with a philosophical flavor with David Wood event. Dana Nelson, the Gertrude Conway Vanderbilt Professor of English and American Studies, will moderate a panel discussion with three Vanderbilt students who have been involved in the Occupy Nashville movement.
A limited number of free lunches will be available starting at 11:30 a.m. A donation of $5 is suggested to help defray costs for this event, co-sponsored by the Vanderbilt Philosophy Department and Friends of the Nashville Public Library.
