This conference is designed for emergency physicians, cardiologists, nurses, emergency management service personnel (EMS), residents/fellows, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease.

Objectives: After participating in this CME activity, participants should be able to:
- Use technical details to identify signs/symptoms and appropriately treat those patients who are at high risk for acute coronary syndrome and STEMI.
- Utilize emerging pharmacologic therapies in hypertensive emergencies.
- Enhance baseline knowledge for rapid recognition for STEMI, discuss "ECG STEMI mimics", and discuss cardiac catheterization activation by ED physicians.
- Recognize signs/symptoms of Acute Aortic Dissection and Acute Pulmonary Embolism and discuss early management.
