Get creative at the Sarratt Youth Art Institute! Have fun exploring clay, painting, sculpture, architecture, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, textile arts, dance, music and the art of different cultures from around the world. Make new friends and learn about a wonderful world of art.

For 2009, we're going green! That's right, our theme for the entire summer is "Going Green with Art". We have a huge list of ways that artists have been recycling and using renewable resources for decades. So we thought we'd share that in our summer art classes as we focus on the environment, recycling, and keeping the world a beautiful place to live!

For summer 2009 Sarratt Art Institute offers one week classes by age groups with two great art mediums each session. Our goal is to really focus in on each technique and have a more productive and fun time in each studio. So a typical day will be 9 am - noon in the studio, noon – 1 p.m. lunch/recess, and 1 pm - 4 pm in the second studio. We will only be enrolling 24 children (two groups of 12) per session to keep the experience unique and offer more quality instruction to each child.

*Session 9 - July 27 - July 31 Ages 8 - 12 *Textile Arts and Handmade Books*

**Art Institute hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday with before and aftercare available for an additional fee.
