Vanderbilt Students for a Free Tibet presents Ngawang Losel, a former monk and Tibetan Refugee. Ngawang will speak about his journey as a refugee from Tibet through the Himalayas to Dharamsala, India and his later immigration to the United States. He will discuss the human rights violations and cultural genocide that are happening today in Tibet along with the more recent history behind the Free Tibet movement. Please join us for some education, inspiration and free food!
