Jeffrey Shandler is Associate Professor of Jewish Studies at Rutgers. His interests include Yiddish language, literature, and culture and American Jewish culture and the media. He is the author of Adventures in Yiddishland and While America Watches: Televising the Holocaust. He has also edited or co-edited several collections on Jewish culture in Eastern Europe and America.
