Performers for the Oct. 11 show will features Songwriters Dean Dillon, Shawn Camp and Scotty Emerick will perform Saturday, Oct. 11, at Dyer Observatory. The final concert in this year’s Bluebird on the Mountain series will begin at 7 p.m.

Bluebird on the Mountain is fast becoming a Nashville tradition. The 2008 Bluebird on the Mountain series includes six concerts between May 17 and October 11 and showcases many of Nashville's premier singer-songwriters performing on the grounds of Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory offering a spectacular view of Nashville.

Concert-goers typically bring a well-stocked picnic basket, lawn chairs and a group of friends to enjoy an evening under the stars listening to the best of the Bluebird. After the show, visitors can linger to stargaze using the observatory's Seyfert telescope.

Tickets are limited, and past performances have sold out in advance of the show, so it is advisable to get your tickets early. All concerts will be held rain or shine. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster locations and are $90 for a carload of 8 people. at Dyer Observatory.
