THIS IS WHAT WOMEN WANT

We are teaming up with the Center for New Words on an election project called "This Is What Women Want", which has hosted speak outs across the country focused on amplifying the voices of real women to the candidates and the media. (Find out more information about the national project at: www.ThisIsWhatWomenWant.com). The organization is hosting a speak out in each debate city the evening before the debate.

Gender Matters of the Margaret Cuninggim Women's Center, Women and Gender Studies and Anthropology will be collaborating to host this event on October 6th at Vanderbilt. This will be the evening before the televised presidential debate taking place on October 7th at Belmont University.

Please join us as women from Vanderbilt and the Nashville community come together use OUR OWN VOICES to let the candidates and the media know what we really want and what the important issues are to us. This is a non-partisan event.
