Curated by Joseph Whitt, this exhibition will feature an intimate selection of original Andy Warhol photographs recently gifted to the Fine Arts Gallery from the late artist's Foundation for the Visual Arts, along with the work of Grant Worth and David Horvitz -- two contemporary photographers based out of New York City.
A reception in honor of the artists will take place in the Fine Arts Gallery on Thursday, August 28 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A special site-specific performance by L.A.-based artist Brendan Fowler also begins at 6:00 p.m.
This exhibition and performance are free and open to the public.
The Fine Arts Gallery is located in the Old Gym, at the corner of 23rd and West End Avenues.
LINE UP, STRIP DOWN, FADE OUT will be on view from August 28 through October 10, 2008.
