Celebrate the incredible journeys of migratory birds between their breeding grounds in North America and their wintering grounds in Central and South America and Mexico.

International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD) encourages bird conservation and awareness through bird watching, information about birds and migration, and a variety of other educational programs.

IMBD participants will receive a wristband used to record their "migration" through several fun and educational activities.

Keeper talks will also be offered throughout the day at various bird exhibits, and there will be three bird shows presented at the Zoo's amphitheater at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The Zoo will also offer an "action tent" where guests can learn more about our changing climate and what can be done to immediately help the environment.
