The Margaret Stonewall Wooldridge Hamblet Award for promising artists was first given in 1986. The Hamblet Award recipient is selected by a panel of outside jurors in an open invitational for graduating seniors held each spring.
The award, a $25,000 grant to be used for travel and study during the year following graduation, culminates in a solo exhibition.
