This trip is designed for backpacking enthusiasts interested in enriching their experience of the outdoors through writing and photography. While hiking through the heart of the Appalachian wilderness, one of the most biologically diverse regions in the country, we will also take time to document our experience, exploring the Smokies in greater depth and detail with cameras and journals.
This trip is designed for backpacking enthusiasts interested in enriching their experience of the outdoors through writing and photography. We will leave campus on Thursday afternoon, spend one night at the Cosby campground, and then set out early the next morning for three days on the trail, returning to campus on Sunday night.
