Venezuelan-born pianist Gabriela Montero joins the Nashville Symphony in a performance of Rachmaninoff's popular Concerto for Piano No. 2 in C minor. This program also includes Shostakovich's robust Festive Overture, as well as works by two American composers: Michael Torke's Jasper and Roy Harris' Symphony No. 3 in One Movement.
